Biography
Bishop "Mike" was ordained a priest in 1965, ordained Auxiliary Bishop of Orange County in 1990, and installed as Bishop of Boise in March 1999. Bishop Mike earned a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California in 1975 and then directed the Catholic Charities until his appointment to Boise. He served on the Catholic Charities USA Board for six years, and continues to serve on the CCUSA Disaster Board. He also serves on the National Catholic Office for Persons with Disabilities, the Migration Committee and the CLINIC Board with the National Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the Domestic Policy Committee for the United States Catholic Conference. For relaxation, Bishop Mike enjoys Idaho fishing.
Deacon Pierce Murphy, Chair

Biography
Pierce Murphy and his wife, Mary Anne, have been married for 25 years. They are blessed with eight wonderful children. The Murphy family belongs to the Catholic community at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in southeast Boise. Pierce is an ordained permanent deacon for the Diocese of Boise. He has been active in his parish as a catechist, Eucharistic minister, lector, and member of both the pastoral council and liturgy committee. The Murphy family has lived in Boise since 1993 when they moved here from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 1978, Pierce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from Santa Clara University. Following his graduation, Pierce entered the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), California Province, where he remained for four years studying philosophy and theology. After leaving the Jesuits, Pierce earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. It was there that Pierce and Mary Anne met and, in 1984, were married. Upon completing his graduate program at Gonzaga, Pierce began a career in human resource management. He and Mary Anne moved first to Detroit, Michigan, and then to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1993, the Murphy family moved to Boise in order to be near Mary Anne’s family. Pierce worked as a human resources executive with the Boise Cascade Corporation until March of 1999, when he was appointed by the Mayor of Boise to be the city’s first Ombudsman. As Ombudsman, Pierce acts as independent oversight for the community regarding the Boise Police and other city law enforcement activities. In 2000 Pierce earned a Master of Pastoral Studies degree from Loyola University of New Orleans in their LIMEX program. During his career, Pierce has specialized in management and leadership training, organizational development, creation and facilitation of high performance work groups, and total quality management.
Mike Kennedy, Vice-Chair
Coeur d'Alene, St. Pius X
Biography
As a parishioner at St. Pius X Parish in Coeur d'Alene, Mr. Kennedy appreciates the opportunity to serve the Diocese and the greater Idaho community as a board member of Catholic Charities of Idaho. He has been an Idaho resident since 1991. He and his wife Kathleen have six children, Will, Nora, Maggie, Max, Quinn, and Jack, all born at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene. Mike graduated from SMU in Dallas, Texas in 1990 and before that was raised in New York.
Mike currently works as President of Intermax Networks, a local high-speed Internet bandwidth company. His professional career has included work consulting with technology companies and spending time as a staff member in the political arena. He is a 1998 graduate of the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Coeur d'Alene program and is a founding member of the Board of Directors for the North Idaho Housing Coalition among other community activities. Mike also serves as a city official, having been elected to the Coeur d'Alene City Council in 2005 and is interested in ideas, feedback, and solutions to problems that can bring communities and Idahoans together.
Monique Lillard, Secretary
Moscow, St. Mary's
Biography
Monique Lillard came to Idaho in 1987 to teach law at the University of Idaho in Moscow. She is a graduate of Stanford University and UCLA School of Law. Monique teaches torts, workplace law, and remedies.
She converted to the Catholic Church in 1993, the same year she married her husband, Duncan Palmatier. She is active in St. Mary’s parish in Moscow, and also maintains ties to St. Augustine’s Church which serves the University of Idaho. Her interests include choral music as well as her two beautiful sons.
Barbara J. Aston
Coeur d'Alene, St. Mary's
Biography
Barbara is a member of St. Mary's Parish in Moscow where she resides with her husband Earl and youngest son. She is employed at Washington State University as Special Assistant to the Provost and serves as a liaison to Native American tribes in the region and directs the Plateau Center for American Indian Studies. Barbara has a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies from Washington State University and a Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans, through the LIMEX program. She has been actively involved in parish and diocesan volunteer service since becoming Catholic in 1974, serving on various parish committees, including parish council, parish representative to North Central Deanery Council, and deanery representative to the Diocesan Pastoral Council. She served on the Diocesan Pastoral Council for approximately five years as President. Barbara has also served on Catholic Charities USA Committee for the Advancement of Racial Equality. She is an enrolled member of the Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma, but has lived in Idaho all of her life and was born and raised in Southern Idaho near Twin Falls. Barbara moved to Rupert where she lived with her husband and children for ten years before moving to Northern Idaho in 1985. She has four children and seven grandchildren. Her main interests include spiritual formation, education, child and family welfare, and social justice.

Michael G. Brady, University of Idaho graduate (B.A. 1968 and J.D. 1970), practicing Boise attorney since 1970. Phi Alpha Delta; Assistant Attorney General, State of Idaho, 1970-1971. In 1994, Michael was a visiting professor at the University of Idaho Law School, teaching "Insurance Law." American Bar Association – Tort and Insurance Law Subsection; Idaho Association of Defense Counsel; American and Idaho Trial Lawyers Associations; Defense Research Institute, Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.; American Arbitration Association; Idaho Mediation Association; Boise Adjustor's Association; and Idaho Tort Reform Coalition Committee. St. John's Parrish member since 1969. Former St. John's Parrish Counsel member. Michael is married to Kathleen Brady. Michael and Kathleen have five children, Michaelina Brady Murphy, Fr. Justin Brady, Morgan Brady, Mischa Brady, and Micah Brady. Michael and Kathleen have two grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Murphy.
Patrick Crisler

Biography
Mr. Crisler received a B.S. degree in Accounting/Computer Science at St. Joseph's College, Indiana, in 1976, and an MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and has served as Audit Manager in certified public accounting as auditor and systems auditor in a variety of industries and sizes of clients for 10 years. His experience also includes Vice President of Finance at American Delivery Service Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Montgomery Ward, Inc., in which he was responsible for financial and systems processes in a multi-state trucking operation employing 600 people for 2 years. He has also owned and operated a small retail business for 5 years. Since August 1998, he has served as Chief Financial Officer for the Catholic Diocese of Boise. His credentials include: Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Arizona; Certified Information Systems Auditor; and a licensed Commercial Pilot. Catholic since birth, his wife, Roberta, and he have two children, Rachel and Nicholas. They are members of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boise. His leisure time interests include flying, fishing, camping and skiing.
John Fiedler

Biography
John Fiedler is an active member of St. Joseph Parish in Idaho City; he also participates in prison ministry. John and his wife, Lesley Bahner, participate in an international child-focused development agency called Childreach. His thirty-year professional career is in the field of communications; his sophisticated market research has been widely used, nationally and internationally. John also completed the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIMEX) Master's program in the year 2000. He has enthusiastically joined the Social Action Network and the Social Action Committee of CCI.
Nick Guho

Biography
Since moving to Idaho in 1993 Nick Guho has become an active member of the Holy Apostles parish in Meridian. Along with Yvonne, his beautiful wife of 23 years, he has raised and cared for four lovely children, Nicholas, Anthony, Corinne, and Susan. Carrying on the family business of four generations Nick, along with his brother Mark, own and operate Guho Corp, a general construction company. Over the years they have completed a variety of prestigious projects including the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Fruitland, a complete remodel of the old Ada County Courthouse, and the new Adoration Chapel for Holy Apostles. Guho Corp has also become an active supporter of the Sanctuary and its efforts to help the homeless of Boise.
Kevin Jones

Biography
Kevin Jones and his wife, Colleen, are members of St. John's Parish. They have four children: Analiese, Patrick, Christopher, and Sean. Kevin sits on the Finance Council for St. John's Parish, and also serves on the BSU College of Business & Economics Advisory Council.
Kevin has been the Principal at Harmonic Investment Advisors since November 2008. Prior to this, he was C.O.O. and C.F.O at D.B. Fitzpatrick & Company from January 2006 to October 2008; and was Sr. Vice-President and Sr. Portfolio Manager for JCM Asset Management from January 2003 to June 2005. Kevin is a member of the CFA Society of Idaho. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, golf and gardening.
Seeley Magnani
Idaho Falls, Holy Rosary
Biography
Mr. Magnami is a 61-year-old retired engineer. He belongs to Holy Rosary Parish in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and is presently a member of the Holy Rosary Parish Council. Within the past 12 years he has been (1) President and Vice President of Christ the King Parish Council in Idaho Falls, (2) a founding member and President for three years of FAITH, an organization providing transitional housing for families willing to work towards self-sufficiency, and (3) a long standing member and three-year President of the Habitat for Humanity (HFH) affiliate in Idaho Falls. As HFH President, three houses were completed and others planned for the future; He authored a Grant, which was successful in a $50,000 award to St. Vincent de Paul in Idaho Falls which was used to purchase a modern building for their Thrift Store and Christian Ministries Program. Through much of his career, primarily as an Engineering Manager, he ran projects. During the last five years of his career he was certified as a Project Management Professional. Seeley considers the development of concise plans for new projects as a strength and applies those skills as a board member of Catholic Charities of Idaho.
Lucy Olmos
Boise, St. Mark's
Biography
Lucy Olmos and her husband, Gustavo, along with their three children (Christopher, Gabriela and Annabel) are members of the St. Mark's Catholic Community in Boise. Lucy and Gustavo joined the St. Mark’s community in 2001 when they also became core members of the Life Teen youth group. After participating in youth ministry for almost five years, Lucy continued to stay active in various ministries such as Council of Catholic Women, Latino Ministry, young adult ministry, elementary education, and Small Faith Community. Lucy and her family recently became members of the new Family Faith Community ministry at St. Mark's. Lucy enjoys staying active with her family by playing soccer and participating in various running events.
Despite the busy family life, she manages to fit in time to work as an accountant at Supervalu/Albertsons where she has filled various accounting and management roles during the last fourteen years. Lucy is a graduate of Boise State University and a licensed CPA. She is also a member of Toastmaster's International and serves as treasurer of the local Valued Voices club. She is involved in community service through her employer as part of the steering committee for the HOLA (Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement) Business Resource Group. Through HOLA and CCI, she enjoys the opportunity to promote diversity and assist the Hispanic community, which is something she’s always had a passion for. Lucy enjoys meeting new people and helping others.
Landis Rossi
Boise, St. Mark's
Biography
Landis and husband Allen, along with their two children Peyton and Mason, live in Meridian and are members of St. Mark’s Parish. Landis has a wonderful extended family whose Catholic faith runs deep.
She has been employed with Idaho Dept. of Health & Welfare for two years as Regional Director and now Program Manager for Service Integration. Prior to her work with Health & Welfare, she worked at Easter Seals Goodwill for six years as an assistant vice-president. Her work focuses on the poor and low income families in Idaho as well as child welfare issues. Landis has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Boise State University. She serves as treasurer on the Board of Home & School at St. Mark’s School, as well as affiliations with United Way and Capstone Missions.
Rev. Andy Schumacher

Biography
Msgr. Andy Schumacher has served the Diocese of Boise since 1960, after he returned from studies and ordination in Rome. In addition to parish pastoral service, he has served on numerous diocesan commissions and planning committees, such as Liturgy, Presbyteral Council, Personnel, Priestly Life and Ministry; and he has served as Diocesan Director of Campus Ministry. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph Hospital, Lewiston, and has served on the Development Committee for St. Gertrude's Monastery. In his application materials, Fr. Andy states: "My interest in Catholic Charities goes back to the time of Bishop Treinen. At that time I urged Bishop Treinen to establish a Catholic Charities in the Diocese because I believed strongly that Catholic Charities is one of the PRIMARY works of the Catholic Church."
Jim Tomlinson
Biography
Jim Tomlinson and his wife Sheryl live in Boise; they have two children, Richard and Greg.
Jim, the CEO and principal of all affiliates of Tomlinson & Associates, Inc., has been actively involved in the development, acquisition and management of investment real estate since 1969. Since 1982, his firm has successfully developed, or acquired and renovated, many diverse real estate projects, including office, retail and warehouse properties, over 100 multi-family projects totaling over 7,000 units. Jim also serves as the President of Boise Housing Corporation, a non-profit company responsible for the recent development of the Oak Park Village and River Plaza projects in Boise. Because of the success of these mixed-use developments, Jim and Tomlinson & Associates were awarded Boise's first "Good Works" award for small business as well as the U.S. Small Business Administration's Vision 2000 national award for excellence in state and local small business efforts. Tomlinson & Associates was recognized as the State and Regional Corporate Partner of the Year in 2000 and as the National Partner of the Year in 2001 by the National Head Start Association for its involvement in the development of Head Start classrooms in Boise's neighborhoods. In addition, Jim and Tomlinson & Associates in 2001 were picked as the Outstanding Commercial Idaho Real Estate Company, a designation which is awarded every two years.
Marcie Wilske, Minister of Charity

Biography
Marcie Wilske currently serves as Chancellor for the Diocese of Boise. Prior to coming to Boise, Marcie served in a variety of parish ministry positions in the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She has extensive experience as a Director of Religious Education, Director of Youth and Adult Ministries, RCIA Coordinator, Music Minister, Parish Social Minister, and Pastoral Associate. Marcie also served as the Parish Social Ministry Coordinator for Catholic Charities of Idaho for three years. Marcie holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Theology from St. Mary's University in Kansas. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Villanova University. Marcie is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Church Management from Villanova University.
