Every day thousands of families, children, and senior citizens rely on free emergency food provided by local pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and churches. Idaho’s charitable hunger-relief organizations are stretched beyond capacity as these volunteer-based groups work tirelessly to help meet the increasing need.
We have exciting news about how YOU can support the non-profit groups and volunteers helping feed hungry Idahoans: you can add a donation to the Idaho Food Bank Fund www.idahofoodbankfund.org when you file your state income tax this year!
New to the Idaho State Income Tax form, the Fund will provide desperately needed resources to support the hundreds of community-based charities serving hungry Idahoans. These funds are more commonly known as a ‘tax check-off’, although in reality you add a donation on Form 40, line 43 of your state tax form.
