Parenting Education and Leadership Classes

CCI teaches positive parenting, advocacy, and leadership skills to parents, with children of all ages, using a variety of curricula.  In some regions, this is accomplished through combining ELL classes with parenting skills training, utilizing curriculum-based guidance.  Teaching positive parenting, advocacy, and leadership skills to parents, with children of all ages, using a variety of curricula.  In some regions, this is accomplished through combining ELL classes with parenting skills training, utilizing curriculum-based guidance.  Emphasis is placed on child abuse prevention, self-advocacy for parents and children learning to follow the rules and laws of American society; includes invited speakers and trainers from the community.  In additon to classroom instruction, individual case management and home visits are offered.

Services vary by location.  Currently, Parenting Education or Parent Leadership Classes are available at our Boise, Coeur d'Alene, Jerome, and Nampa Family Strengthening Centers.
