Marie D. Hoff Social Justice Award
Do you know a group or person who is a tireless advocate on behalf of human life, justice, God’s creation, or the poor and vulnerable? Catholic Charities of Idaho is in the process of soliciting nominations for our annual Marie D. Hoff Social Justice Achievement Award. If there is an individual or group you would like to recognize for passionate advocacy of social justice issues, please consider submiting your nomination.
The Marie D. Hoff Award is designed to recognize an individual, group, or organization (Catholic or non-Catholic) that passionately seeks to call forth and engage people in transforming social structures that perpetuate injustice and poverty. The award recipient will be publicly recognized in their local region as well as at the Diocesan Fall Conference. A small monetary award will also be given to a charity designated by the award recipient.
The Marie D. Hoff Nomination Form as well as Eligibility Requirements are available through these links. The deadline for submission is May 10th, 2010. You may submit forms via email to Christine Smith. If you have additional questions about these forms or the process, please contact Christine at (208) 350-7486.
