Maria enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relational conflict.
Maria seeks to offer a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling. She has a passion for equipping and empowering clients in successfully navigating and growing through life’s challenges. Maria is a counseling intern at Catholic Charities and is in her final year of her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Theology minor from the University of Portland. Maria’s primary counseling methods include: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment-based therapy. She can provide integrative counseling for those seeking Christian-based counseling services. Maria is a practicing Catholic and loves serving in music ministry. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, writing music, hiking, kayaking, and doing anything outdoors. |
