Catholic Charities of Idaho (CCI) is a Department of Justice (DOJ) recognized nonprofit organization offering low-cost immigration legal services to individuals and families across Idaho. Our mission is to provide accessible, trustworthy legal assistance to those eligible for immigration benefits, regardless of background or income level.

Our DOJ Accredited Representatives are qualified to represent clients before U.S. immigration agencies and provide assistance with a wide range of immigration matters.

At CCI, we understand that immigration processes can be complex and overwhelming. Our experienced caseworkers are here to empower clients with knowledge of their rights and help them navigate the legal system with dignity and confidence.

If this is your first time seeking our services, you can request an appointment for an initial screening to determine eligibility. Our consultation fee is $50 and is paid at the time of appointment.

  • ​Services include consultations, the Initial intake to determine eligibility or to review case status, services provided to individuals who qualify through VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and services to individuals who are certified as victims of qualifying criminal activity and their qualifying family members.

  • Catholic Charities of Idaho assists eligible youth and young adults to gain work permits and be safe from deportation through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program approved by the federal government in July of 2012. These youth and young adults were brought into the United States undocumented but are a low enforcement priority. Through DACA, these individuals will be given the opportunity to integrate themselves and fully contribute to society. Youth and young adults who are currently in the DACA program, who currently reside in Idaho, and who need assistance with their renewal applications, can contact Catholic Charities of Idaho at 208-350-7484 for assistance.
