Mary

At 72, Mary was facing a crisis. She thought she could support herself on Social Security and retirement funds. But health challenges and record-breaking inflation took a toll on her. Her monthly expenses were more than 100% of her income. After all other expenses, she only had $50 a month for food. 

Because of donor support, CCI worked with Mary to keep her in her home. She developed a budget, accessed community resources, and is now on a sustainable path that keeps her housed, feeling secure, and out of debt.
