In her late sixties, Margaret moved to Boise to care for her aging mother. She had hoped for peace and connection, but instead faced isolation, grief, and anxiety about her future. With no one outside the family to talk to and unable to afford counseling, she turned to Catholic Charities of Idaho for support. Counseling provided a safe space to process grief, rebuild confidence, and regain emotional stability. After her mother’s passing, Margaret bought a home in her home state, reconnected with her children and grandchildren, and entered retirement with renewed strength and purpose. “I don’t know how I would have gotten through it without you,” she shared. “I’m so thankful for Catholic Charities.”
