When Laura and her husband fell behind on rent after a brief period of unemployment, their growing family faced eviction — just as they prepared to welcome a newborn baby. Overwhelmed and anxious about losing their home, they reached out to Catholic Charities of Idaho for help.
Our Social Services team worked quickly to stabilize the situation, covering back rent and connecting the family with additional community resources. Their home was secured, and they were able to bring their baby home to a safe and stable environment.
“We just needed a little help getting back on track. Thank you.”
With her husband now working again and new financial support systems in place, Laura is focused on caring for her children and paying down remaining bills. Her story demonstrates Catholic Charities’ mission in action — strengthening family stability and helping parents build a hopeful foundation for the future.
