Janet is a long term client of CCI, and has been working with Julie for

approximately 15 months. When Janet contacted CCI she was unable to afford her basic living expenses, estranged from her children, and felt like she was

drowning in debt with her fixed income. Janet participated in and completed our

subsidized housing program, paying off her credit cards and enrolling in public

programs she did not know she was eligible for to assist in reducing her

expenses. Her service coordinator, Julie, met with Janet once a week for

approximately 6 months, and after her graduation from the subsidized housing

program continues to work with Janet. Janet receives support in setting her

monthly budget at the start of the month, planning where her finances will go for

the month. Janet has also received education in healthy boundaries with her

children, who have put her secure housing in jeopardy in the past. Janet has

been able to work toward regulating her physical and mental health, and is in the

process of enrolling into mental health services while she navigates the

difficulties of aging. Janet is devout in her love of God, and so thankful for the

many types of support she has received throughout her participation in Catholic

Charities of Idaho. She has felt loved, seen, and supported by her case manager,

and all others she has interacted with at CCI.
