Keeping a Roof Over Her Head

Maria called in terrified after receiving a 3-day notice on her apartment. She had recently been laid off from one job, had reduced hours at another, and feared losing her home. A CCI staff member listened, validated her emotions, and guided her through her tenant rights, helping her regain clarity and confidence. With financial assistance, Maria was able to pay her rent and stay in her home. She continues to work and maintain housing, feeling seen, supported, and empowered. “Thank you, I appreciate you,” she shared.
