Mental Health Clinician/Licensed Professional Counselor
Location: Catholic Charities of Idaho Boise Office
Salary: Competitive Pay
Type of Employment: Exempt, full-time (30-40 hours/week)
Hours: Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Reports to: Clinical Director, Counseling

Description:
Therapist sought to provide out-patient counseling to individuals, children, couples and families at Catholic Charities of Idaho.  We are a diverse office, counseling individuals of all faiths and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults.  We are committed to serving our clients with a Catholic understanding of the person, marriage and family life, as well as each individual’s culture, race, religion and gender.
 
At Catholic Charities of Idaho, we seek to enable our clients to overcome emotional and/or behavioral obstacles that prevent them from realizing their full potential.  Our staff members bring compassion and varied clinical experience to the services provided to our clients.  We offer in-person counseling at our Boise office counseling center, at the Catholic center at Boise State University and other areas of the State via tele-health.
 
Client issues have included (but are not limited to) various mood and anxiety disorders, relationship concerns (including marriage and pre-marital), addiction issues (substance and process), trauma-related issues, problem behaviors, as well as matters related to adolescence and parenting. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, couples, family and group counseling. Coordinate services to individuals and families and maintain collaboration.  Demonstrate commitment to improving client outcomes & customer satisfaction.
  • Develop treatment plans and assess progress
  • Complete and maintain clinical records using electronic record software in a timely manner and according to agency policies and procedures
  • Participate in clinical supervision
  • Obtain continued education courses necessary to maintain license, if applicable to the person applying 

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Operate on an increasingly independent level, with a high degree of self-awareness, requesting consultation as the need arises
  • Contribute knowledge and understanding to the staff in areas of specialization. Attend and participate in regular staff meetings, trainings, and consultation teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the local Faith Community.
  • Uphold Catholic social teachings.

Education, Degrees, Certificates and Experience:
  • Masters in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Counseling
  • License-eligible (LPC, LCPC) in the State of Idaho or working toward licensure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including 2 nights per week
  • Specialized experience working with marriages, trauma or addiction is desirable.
  • Ability to speak and write in English required, Bilingual Spanish a plus

Communications and development manager
Title: Communications and Development Manager
Location: CCI Boise Office
Salary: Range 6
Type of Employment: Exempt, full-time (40 hours/week)
Reports to: Executive Director

JOB OVERVIEW
Implements CCI communications and marketing strategies to advance agency mission and stakeholder awareness of agency service activities and impact.  The position will also work closely with the Executive Director to manage and implement CCI fundraising initiatives.  

Responsible for CCI brand identity and communication products and activities, including agency website, newsletters, news media engagements, digital and social media communications, marketing collateral, and development materials.   Supports major CCI fundraising efforts, donor relations, and donor database.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications and Marketing (65%)
  • With guidance from CCI Board and Executive Director, develop and implement an integrated communications and marketing strategy to advance CCI brand identity, broaden awareness and understanding of CCI programs and services, increase visibility of CCI and its services with key constituencies/stakeholders.
  • Oversee development of CCI print and digital communications, including agency website, e-newsletters, marketing collateral, event communications, and fundraising materials.
  • Develop regular marketing and social media campaigns, both digital and print, to engage supporters, build momentum, and share success stories.
  • Edit video and create shareable video content. 
  • Manage relationships with associated communication and marketing vendors.
  • Work with CCI Leadership team to capture compelling human-interest stories (from clients, volunteers, staff, etc.) associated with agency mission and work.
  • Prioritize media/marketing/communications opportunities, prepare talking points and other supporting materials as needed.
  • Assist CCI Office Manager with valuation of agency IT hardware and communications software needs; liaison with Diocesan IT Department as necessary.

Development (25%)
  • Work with the CCI Board and Executive Director in the development of a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet agency’s goals for philanthropic support.
  • Help establish and maintain relationships with prospective donors, foundations, and corporate giving programs. 
  • Support agency fundraising events.  Identify, cultivate, solicit, and secure sponsorships, including individual, institutional, and corporate donors, as needed.  In collaboration with the Executive Director, help determine event fundraising goals and maximize event experience and revenue.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director in the creation of donor appeal initiatives (both digital and print), including narrative, and design, donor mailing list, and coordination with printing and mailing vendors.
  • Assist with outreach to donor prospects and follow-up engagements as appropriate.  Help cultivate, manage, and sustain relationships with current and prospective donors.
  • Evaluate appeal donations for coding accuracy and special consideration and response needs. 
  • Provide support to CCI development and fundraising initiatives as necessary.
  • Proctor Raiser’s Edge database, analyze donations, and work with assigned data-entry staff to produce timely and accurate donor acknowledgement communication.
  • Support management of mailing lists for appeals and events.

General Requirements/Other Duties (10%) 
  • Serve as a member of the agency Leadership Team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned within scope of 40-hour work week.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, English or related field required.
  • Experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; diplomatic and tactful, sensitive to the needs of key stakeholders. 
  • Experience with successful social media campaigns and related content development.
  • Ability to analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts.
  • Experience with donor engagement and solicitation preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs, Adobe Creative Cloud software, Constant Contact platform, and social media platforms.  Raiser’s Edge, Zoom, DocuSign, G Suite, LastPass, and Formstack preferred but not required.
  • Nondiscriminatory attitude regarding people, ability to work with all populations, appreciation for cultural competency as a core agency value.
  • Must have an understanding or willingness to learn Catholic Social Teaching, strong commitment to agency mission, understanding of Roman Catholic Church structure and mission.
  • Ability to appropriately manage confidential information.
  • Criminal history clearance.
