Catholic Charities of Idaho cannot deliver on our promise to alleviate, reduce and end poverty for those we serve, without a strong group of volunteers to help us. If you enjoy serving others and love people from all cultures and backgrounds, this might be the place for you to invest your spare time.
We accept volunteers from many walks of life, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic strata. Whether you're a BSU student, a retiree, a veteran, or new to our community looking to get to know your neighbors, as long as you have a heart for service, a valid driver's license and are at least 18 years old, we can put you to work!
As a volunteer you could:
help facilitate a citizenship class
mentor a local youth struggling to stay in school
become a client advocate
volunteer for administrative tasks in the office
become a community outreach warrior -- help us get the word out
provide transportation for students coming for classes
support specific events that happen throughout the year
provide language/cultural orientation and support to refugees and immigrants
