DEFERRED ACTION FOR CHILDHOOD ARRIVALS (DACA)
Catholic Charities of Idaho assists eligible youth and young adults to gain work permits and be safe from deportation through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program approved by the federal government in July of 2012. These youth and young adults were brought into the United States undocumented but are a low enforcement priority. Through DACA, these individuals will be given the opportunity to integrate themselves and fully contribute to society. Youth and young adults who are currently in the DACA program, who currently reside in Idaho, and who need assistance with their renewal applications, can contact Catholic Charities of Idaho at 208-350-7484 for assistance.
